GHD is currently looking for a #CD#Materials Technologist/Technician to join our Ottawa office. #CD#This is a permanent, full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

Materials testing:

• Laboratory testing of aggregate, soils, asphalt, concrete
• Field quality control of construction materials
• Materials sampling
• Data entry along with report preparation
• Geotechnical/Environmental drilling as required

Education and skills

• Civil Engineering Technology diploma preferred
• CET Certification is considered an asset
• Valid driver&rsquo#CD#s licence with access to a personal vehicle
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently
• Availability to work on remote sites for extended periods of time as required
• Previous experience with construction materials testing, geotechnical is considered an asset
